Murphy and Buffone are both nationally recognized experts in their field.
4C Health Solutions brings aboard George Murphy as the Head of Strategic Relationships. Murphy brings 40 years of experience in a multitude of industries. He has held HR roles with oversight over all facets of the personnel business with a specialization in the Compensation and Benefits area. He has a successful track record of designing and leading benefit and compensation systems in large complex organizations with business results. Murphy recently retired from Lincoln Financial Group, where he served as Senior Vice President Total Rewards, HR Technology and Operations. In that role, he implemented programs that saved the company over $100 million.
Murphy, who holds BS and MBA degrees from Thomas Jefferson University and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Rutgers University, states, “My career has been about cost savings and getting access to full-bodied data. It is imperative to improve management of providers, vendors, and members.”
“George has been on the leading edge with being a founding member of HTA, his roles at Lincoln Financial, asking for more data transparency, and leveraging health data to optimize health plans. He will significantly add to our expertise, knowledge base, and relationships,” states Chief Executive Officer Ron Templeton.
4C also welcomes Steve Buffone to the Advisory Board. Buffone brings 37 years of experience as a corporate transactional lawyer and legal and business consultant. He was a partner at Gibson Dunn law firm for 34 years. He continues to serve as a Board member and Chairman of the Board of numerous for-profit and not-for-profit entities.
Buffone is a legal and business problem solver. Renowned for his legal and business prowess in serving both domestic and international clients, Buffone has a demonstrated ability to handle a wide variety of deals from start to finish with his master expertise. His experience, skills, work ethic and broad professional network will be substantial assets for 4C Health Solutions moving forward.
